Product Overview
The AutroPoint HC200 is a fixed, diffusion-based infrared gas detector that continuously monitors flammable hydrocarbon gases from 0–100% LFL.
Its 316 stainless-steel enclosure, sapphire optical components and IP66/IP67 protection make it suitable for harsh marine, offshore and oil-and-gas environments. It can function independently or integrate with larger fire-and-gas safety systems.
Detectable Gases
The detector can detect hundreds of flammable hydrocarbon gases and vapours. It is performance-certified for:
- Methane
- Propane
- Ethylene
- Butane
Other hydrocarbon gases can be configured and calibrated through HART or Modbus communication.

Model Selection
The exact article number depends on:
- NPT or metric cable entries
- Standard or fast-response output
- Relay-board requirement
- Weather-baffle configuration
- HART-port option
- Required marine and hazardous-area approvals
- Factory calibration gas
The full model configuration should therefore be confirmed before quotation.
