Product overview

The Spirax Sarco FT14 is an automatic mechanical steam trap designed to continuously remove condensate and air from steam systems without allowing significant live-steam loss.

It uses a stainless-steel float connected to a discharge valve. As condensate enters the chamber, the float rises and opens the valve. When the condensate level decreases, the float closes the outlet.

Main features

  • Continuous condensate discharge
  • Responds immediately to changing condensate loads
  • Integral thermostatic air vent
  • Stainless-steel working components
  • High discharge capacity
  • Operates under light and heavy loads
  • Suitable for modulating steam systems
  • Maintainable without removing the body from the pipeline
  • Screwed and flanged connections available
  • Horizontal and downward vertical configurations
  • Optional steam-lock release
  • Replaceable internal mechanism
