Product Category
Combustion Oxygen and Carbon Monoxide Equivalent Analyzer
Product Overview
The ABB Endura AZ40 is a close-coupled combustion analyzer that continuously measures excess oxygen and unburned fuel in boiler, furnace and combustion exhaust gases.
Oxygen is measured using a zirconium-oxide cell, while unburned combustibles are detected by a catalytic sensor and reported as carbon monoxide equivalent—COe.
Simultaneous O₂ and COe measurement helps operators optimise the fuel-to-air ratio, reduce fuel consumption, identify burner problems and operate closer to the most efficient combustion point without creating unsafe conditions.
