Product Overview
The ABB TTH300.Y0.H.BS is a two-channel, head-mounted temperature transmitter. It converts signals from RTDs, thermocouples, resistance sensors or millivolt sources into a 4–20 mA HART output for remote monitoring and control.

Product Description
The TTH300 accepts one or two temperature sensors and transmits the measured value through a vessel’s 4–20 mA automation loop. Its dual-input arrangement supports:
- Automatic sensor redundancy
- Backup switching following sensor failure
- Differential and average-temperature measurement
- Sensor-drift monitoring
- RTD and thermocouple error correction
- HART configuration and diagnostics
Typical marine applications include:
- Main-engine exhaust-gas monitoring
- Bearings and stern-tube temperature measurement
- Boiler and economizer systems
- Fuel, lubricating-oil and cooling-water systems
- Cargo and utility process equipment
- Retrofit of obsolete head-mounted transmitters
