Autronica AutroPoint HC200 Infrared Hydrocarbon Gas Detector

Category:

Product Overview

The AutroPoint HC200 is a fixed, diffusion-based infrared gas detector that continuously monitors flammable hydrocarbon gases from 0–100% LFL.

Its 316 stainless-steel enclosure, sapphire optical components and IP66/IP67 protection make it suitable for harsh marine, offshore and oil-and-gas environments. It can function independently or integrate with larger fire-and-gas safety systems.

Detectable Gases

The detector can detect hundreds of flammable hydrocarbon gases and vapours. It is performance-certified for:

  • Methane
  • Propane
  • Ethylene
  • Butane

Other hydrocarbon gases can be configured and calibrated through HART or Modbus communication.

Model Selection

The exact article number depends on:

  • NPT or metric cable entries
  • Standard or fast-response output
  • Relay-board requirement
  • Weather-baffle configuration
  • HART-port option
  • Required marine and hazardous-area approvals
  • Factory calibration gas

The full model configuration should therefore be confirmed before quotation.
