Product overview
The Spirax Sarco FT14 is an automatic mechanical steam trap designed to continuously remove condensate and air from steam systems without allowing significant live-steam loss.
It uses a stainless-steel float connected to a discharge valve. As condensate enters the chamber, the float rises and opens the valve. When the condensate level decreases, the float closes the outlet.
Main features
- Continuous condensate discharge
- Responds immediately to changing condensate loads
- Integral thermostatic air vent
- Stainless-steel working components
- High discharge capacity
- Operates under light and heavy loads
- Suitable for modulating steam systems
- Maintainable without removing the body from the pipeline
- Screwed and flanged connections available
- Horizontal and downward vertical configurations
- Optional steam-lock release
- Replaceable internal mechanism
