Product Overview
The AutroFlame X33AF is a multispectrum infrared flame detector designed for rapid detection of fires involving light and heavy hydrocarbon fuels.
It uses three infrared sensors with advanced signal-processing technology to distinguish genuine flames from sunlight, hot equipment, welding activity and other potential false-alarm sources. Its explosion-protected construction makes it suitable for demanding marine, offshore and oil-and-gas applications.
Main Features
- Three-spectrum infrared flame detection
- Long-range hydrocarbon-fire detection
- High resistance to false alarms
- Multiple selectable sensitivity levels
- Automatic optical integrity testing
- Microprocessor-controlled heated optics
- Operates in dirty and adverse weather conditions
- Built-in event logging with date and time
- Fire, fault and auxiliary relay outputs
- Optional 0–20 mA output with HART communication
- SIL 2-capable versions available
- Aluminium and 316 stainless-steel housings
- Suitable for indoor and outdoor installation
- Explosion-proof hazardous-area construction
Automatic Optical Integrity
The detector automatically performs a calibrated optical-path and sensor-performance test. This verifies the detector’s operational condition without requiring routine testing with an external flame-test lamp.
